Child Find Ontario, a registered non-profit organization, works with over 500 trained volunteers in over 20 chapters and regional offices across the Province. Trained, police-screened volunteers carry out our programs in local communities, including our KidCheck ID fingerprint sessions. In 2001, over 13,500 children were finger-printed throughout Ontario by Child Find volunteers. They distribute and maintain thousands of posters of missing children and speak on children's safety issues. Thanks to our presence at grassroots, national and international level, Child Find is proud to be the largest and most comprehensive agency of its type in Canada. There is no charge for our services and Child Find does not solicit door to door. Programs and services include: search and recovery programs, teaching communities to keep kids safe, kidcheck / fingerprint program, newborn baby ID program, green ribbon of hope campaign, truck poster program, teen runaway program, education and community outreach.
